General info

When e-mail is transmitted over the Internet it is usually in plain text. E-mail in plain text can be read by anyone if it is intercepted. Alternatively, when transmitted over the Internet, e-mail can be protected using encryption. Encryption scrambles the content of the e-mail, si if is intercepted, it can't be read by unauthorized recipients. The e-mail is secure and only readable by the intended recipient. Boehringer lngelheim requires that confidential information must be exchanged securely with business partners when using e-mail.

Important Note

The Boehringer lngelheim Secure Messaging system will not store any e-mails. Boehringer lngelheim will not be responsible for recovering any deleted e-mails.
