Step 1

The secure email conversation is initiated by a Boehringer lngelheim employee. This is the only way to start a secured email conversation. There is no registration required for external partners.

You will receive an E-Mail from the Boehringer-lngelheim Office 365 Message Encryption, open the message in your Inbox and click the "Read the message" button as shown below.

Step 2

On your web browser, you can select either "Sign in with a one-time passcode" or "Sign in with Google" as shown in the figure above.

Step 3

Selecting "Sign in with a one-time passcode" in Step 2 will open a new tab on your browser where you should paste the passcode sent to your mailbox(Step 4). See figure below for reference.

Additonally you can check the box This is a private computer: Keep me signed in for 12 hours, if checked, you will not prompted for a one-time passcode for 12hours, this feature is desiged for frequent secure communication during the workday, saving you extra time.

Step 4

Check your mailbox, look for the email with the one-time passcode, copy and paste the passcode to your web browser(Step 3) and click Continue. See figure below for reference.
